Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, often known as Ashanti was born on 13 October on the 13th of October, 1980 on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She's a performer and an actress from her native United States. Ashanti was famous when she was a teenager. In 2002, she signed with Murder Inc. Records. The same year, she was featured in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? the song "What's the Love?" by Fat Joe and Ja Rule's song "Always on Time were both huge hits. Ashanti also appeared in a couple of music videos, such as K.R.S. - Act One's "MC's as if they don't" along with Eight-Off Ghetto girl. Ashanti was courted and signed by various recording labels, including Bad Boy. She also had a few cameos in music videos. But she did sing throughout New York and began hanging around at the Murder Inc. recording studio hoping to get a major break. Ashanti initially appeared as the background singer for Big Pun on the song "How We Roll". Ashanti sang on the track of Fat Joe,"What's Luv?" Ja Rule's always punctual and Fat Jojo's What is Luv? also featured her. The track was a sample of DeBarge's 1983 single Stay with Me for her first single Foolish. Ashanti released her first album, entitled "Ashanti", in 2002 under Irv Getti's Murder Inc. Record Label. The Declaration the fourth studio album released on June 3, 2008. Hey Baby (After The Club) hit radios and digital platforms on October 16. The actress has appeared in the films Christmas in the City as and Army Wives. Aitch has sampled Rock wit U in his Baby on the 10th of March 2022 song.
